Tamika London Ph.D.

Dr. London attended Spelman College where she earned Bachelor of Art Degrees in Psychology and Spanish.  After graduating from Spelman College, Dr. London attended Tennessee State University where she earned her Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Psychology. During her matriculation at Tennessee Stated University, Dr. London completed an internship at Vanderbilt Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic, where she received highest honors. She also completed a practicum at Vanderbilt Adult Psychiatry Clinic wherein she specialized in psychological testing/assessment.

Dr. London completed training at Meharry Medical College. She also received training at Middle Tennessee State Psychiatric Hospital wherein she performed psychological evaluations on children and adults and collaborated on forensic evaluations in order to determine competency to stand trial. A native of California, Dr. London returned to Fresno in order to complete her pre and post doctoral residencies at Kaiser Permanente.  

Dr. London is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of California. Her experience includes forensic evaluations, neuropsychological assessments, psychological evaluations, and psychotherapy.

For the past four years, Dr. London has been performing assessments for Juvenile Dependency, Superior Court of California.  These evaluations include:

-Risk Assessments: Identify potential risks of abuse and/or neglect to children

-Family Reunification Assessments: Aid court in determining if parents can   benefit from family reunification services and recommend specific services 

-Neuropsychological evaluations: Examine cognitive functioning and/or    impairment in intellectual functioning, attention/concentration, visual-spatial  ability, language, memory and learning, and executive functioning. 

-Psychological evaluations: Examine overall mental health, diagnose    psychiatric disorders and recommend  specific treatment services    

For the past seven years, Dr. London has been employed as a Staff Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente. She is a member of an interdisciplinary team of mental health providers. Her experience in this setting includes psychological evaluations, neuropsychological assessments, supervision of pre-doctoral interns, treatment planning, and psychotherapy.
